Bible exhibit is impressive, rare

Steve Green is president of the very successful Hobby Lobby company which was founded by his father in 1972. They have 514 arts and crafts stores in 41 states.

A few weeks ago I met with Green on the site of his Passages Bible Exhibit in Charlotte. He gave Pam and me a tour of the facility, and he shared his vision for his collection of 40,000 Bible artifacts and scripture texts – the largest private collection of its kind in the world. I hope you read the full story in the Biblical Recorder or on

I was extremely impressed with the extent and the quality of the exhibit. North Carolina has never had the opportunity to see something as powerful as Green’s collection. His goal is to present the message of the Bible through traveling exhibits and through the Museum of the Bible, scheduled to open in about 5 years in Washington, D.C.

Green is personally hosting a pastor’s breakfast next Thursday, October 25, in Charlotte to introduce church leaders to Passages. Pastors can meet him and hear his testimony. Contact Passages at (704) 510-2281 to make your reservation. Visit ExplorePassages.com to learn more.

Please take a moment to forward this email to a pastor and encourage him to make this event a priority.

The Passages exhibit will be in N.C. for a limited time. Every Baptist in our state should see it.
