Christmas highlights our five senses

All of the emphasis on Christmas festivities made me think about the way we use our five God-given senses to stretch our enjoyment of the season. I wrote an editorial for last week’s print edition of the Recorder that focuses on one of those gratifying creations of God – the sense of smell. If you have not read it yet, please click here and take a moment to read, “What’s cooking?”

George Braswell shared a story with us that adds an interesting twist to Christmas celebrations. He writes as a former international missionary and seminary professor who had an occasion to meet a real Magi in the Middle East. The story has become one of the most popular articles on our website this week. If you missed it, click here to enjoy Braswell’s story.

Next week’s printed Biblical Recorder is our annual “year in review” edition. Your BR staff hopes the summary will be a helpful reminder of the important people and events from 2017.

‚ÄčAre you looking for that one final gift? Would you like a gift that lasts all year? Click here and order a one year subscription to the Biblical Recorder or the BR Digital Edition – or both for the price of one!!

All of us at the BR hope you have a safe and enjoyable celebration of the birth of our Savior. We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
