Potpourri of information

The Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting will be in Houston next month. This week your Biblical Recorder begins publishing information to help you prepare for this important convention, even if you aren’t able to be in Houston.

This is the first of a series of stories to help you stay informed on the June 11-12 meeting and related meetings. Watch for more information on BRnow.org and in the Biblical Recorder. Follow us throughout the historic proceedings.

Nicholas Muteti tells an incredible story in his newly released book, Segregation in Churches: Providing God’s Answer to Solve the Dilemma. Read the story about this African-born pastor, and get the book to comprehend his full challenge.

In my latest editorial, I am encouraging pastors to make a worldwide impact with the ultimate missionary – the Word of God. The Bible speaks for itself as millions read it and are converted. It goes where missionaries are often barred. The Gideons International has done more to distribute the scriptures than any other ministry in the history of Christianity. Read their story and join them.

Thank you for making the Biblical Recorder part of your healthy information diet.

Happy Mother's Day! Please give generously to the Mother's Day offering.
