New BSC plan approved

Watch for breaking news on our website this week reporting the actions of the Board of Directors of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The board discussed the proposed plan “Impacting Lostness Through Disciple-making” and approved it in their regular meeting Tuesday Caraway Conference Center.
The news this week from Oklahoma is tragic. Pray for our brothers and sisters there who are ministering to those who have experienced loss. Pray for the communities. Pray for the disaster teams arriving on the scene. I hope you will give to N.C. Baptist Men so they can serve effectively as they partner with other disaster relief teams across the nation.
From midday last Saturday through midday Tuesday our website, BRnow.org, was offline due to a power failure at a central server hosting facility in the Research Triangle. The backup systems collapsed causing serious damage to multiple servers. Technicians worked literally day and night to resolve the problems. We apologize that you were not able to access our website for three days. Please visit the site regularly and encourage your friends to stay informed through BRnow.org.
Our staff is honored to write stories about the many great ministries across N.C. and around the world. Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute is one of the fine jewels we are excited to showcase this week. Read the story and let the Fruitland leadership know that you stand with them at this important time in their history.
It's not too late to give generously to the Mother's Day Offering! Your gift really makes a difference for families who struggle to pay their hospital bills.
