K. Allan Blume
Allan Blume began serving as the editor/president of the Biblical Recorder on May 25, 2011.
He has served three churches in North Carolina: pastor of Statesville Avenue Baptist Church, Charlotte (1977-1989); executive pastor of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Charlotte (1989-1994); and senior pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Boone (1994-2011). He previously served as the minister of evangelism of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma (1975-1977).
He is a graduate of Wingate University, Carson-Newman University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. Allan grew up in Charlotte, where New Hope Baptist Church reached out to his family and led each of them to faith in Christ.
Allan and his wife, Pam, have one son who lives in Atlanta, Ga., and works in Christian media relations. Pam served eight years as a trustee of the International Mission Board. She has served on committees for the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSC). They have shared their lives and ministry in overseas missions around the world. The Blumes are members of First Baptist Church in Cary.
Blume has served Baptists and the evangelical community in many ways including vice president of the Board of Directors for the BSC (2004) and three terms as president of the Board of Directors for the BSC (2005-2007). He has served on several committees of the Southern Baptist Convention including the Executive Committee, chairman of the Credentials Committee (1996) and chairman of the Committee on Order of Business (2005, 2006).

D. Seth Brown
Seth Brown began working at the Biblical Recorder in February 2015. Before that he was a researcher and copy editor for Docent Research Group, as well as the owner of a small graphic design business.
Seth received a master of arts degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, and a bachelor of arts degree from William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Miss.
Brown and his wife, Lauren, are natives of Mississippi. They have three children and live in Wake Forest. He is also a lay pastor at Imago Dei Church in Raleigh.

Dianna L. Cagle
Dianna Cagle started working at the Recorder in May 2006 after finishing a two-year term as a North American Mission Board US/C-2 missionary in Lexington, S.C.
A native of Birmingham, Ala., Cagle earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and history from the University of Alabama. Since college, she has worked at The Union-Recorder in Milledgeville, Ga., The Decatur Daily in Decatur, Ala., and the Birmingham Post-Herald in Birmingham. She has also worked at The Alabama Baptist as a copy editor, reporter, photographer and page designer.
As a US/C-2 missionary, Cagle also wrote articles for The Baptist Courier, South Carolina’s Baptist newspaper. She served with the Lexington Baptist Association and its churches while directing the Christian Ministry Center, a non-profit ministry that aids in food, clothing and financial assistance for 11 zip codes surrounding Batesburg-Leesville, S.C.
Cagle is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest with a master of divinity degree in biblical counseling. She lives in Cary and is a member of First Baptist Church in Cary.

Alison McKinney began her career with the Biblical Recorder in October 1998. As business and advertising manager, Alison is often the first voice you’ll hear when calling the Recorder's office. She helps maintain the editor’s calendar and correspondence, works with the BR Board of Directors, sells and schedules advertising, and assists with general inquiries about the various media tools of the Recorder.
Prior to joining the Recorder staff, Alison worked for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina in congregational services.
Originally from Sanford, McKinney grew up as a member of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church. She currently lives in Apex with her son Nathan. She has an adult daughter, Catherine, and two grandsons. Alison is a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Apex.
She has an associate’s degree in business management from Randolph Community College.

Liz Tablazon returned to join the Biblical Recorder
staff in July 2015. She previously served as editorial aide in 2013. Liz earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2015. There, she worked in house management and the box office at PlayMakers Repertory Company.
Liz was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 1999. She grew up active in the church-planting ministry, as her family served two churches in Union, N.J. and Winston-Salem, N.C. In that time she assisted with child care, church communications and the worship team.
She manages all of the Recorder’s
circulation data and works with subscribers to ensure accurate delivery of our information media. Liz also manages our social media, developing unique strategies to effectively engage with readers through various online platforms.
Tablazon is a member of The Summit Church. She enjoys writing, traveling and music.
