The challenges keep coming
My editorial this week points to another round of hypocrisy in the secularists’ agenda. Last week the Mozilla CEO was pressured to step down from his job because six years ago he gave a donation to support traditional marriage. He has not verbalized any personal opinions on the subject, and he has not pushed his views on any of the company’s employees. But in a display of rancid intolerance, the company forced their views on the CEO. Read the editorial and feel free to submit your comments at the bottom of the editorial.
In yet another attack on historical morality, the Supreme Court denied a hearing for the appeal of a New Mexico photographer who declined to photograph a gay "wedding." Read the story here.
On a more positive note, read Dianna Cagle’s feature on multi-site churches in North Carolina. God is doing a great work in these churches. Because of their openness to creative ways of ministry, lives are being changed. This is encouraging! There is more! Watch the next issue of the Biblical Recorder for the the rest of the story.
We are heading into the final turn of the race to support North American missions. This is "crunch time." I pray that your church family is giving generously to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and praying intently for the work of North American missions.
It is a privilege to serve the Lord with you in spite of the challenges of the day! Our God is able! (Ephesians 3:20)
