Annual Meeting gathers momentum
Is your church prepared to face the legal challenges of homosexual marriage and other pressures imposed by government regulations? Are your bylaws and other legal documents in good order? If not, you could be facing an expensive legal battle to defend your religious rights. It may not be as simple as you think. That’s why the Baptist State Convention is sponsoring a brief seminar on Mon., Nov. 10 at 3:30 p.m. in Auditorium IV, located on the third floor of the Koury Convention Center. This helpful seminar will be immediately following the Pastors' Conference and prior to the opening session of the annual meeting.
Don’t miss the N.C. Pastors' Conference and the annual meeting Nov. 9-11 in Greensboro. I am hearing a lot of excitement about this year's gatherings.
Did you download your annual meeting app yet? Get it here.
If you are not able to get to the Koury Center, live streaming will be available at ncannualmeeting.org beginning Monday evening, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. and Tues., Nov. 11 starting at 8:30 a.m.
Be sure to come by the Biblical Recorder booth in Greensboro to register to win an iPad, Bibles and other fantastic prizes. I hope to see you there!
Read all the news in this week's edition of the Recorder and online. I shared my perspective on last week's ERLC conference on marriage and sexuality in my editorial. Read it here.
It was exciting to preach the Word at Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary on Sunday. This exciting church is searching for a pastor at this time. Pray for them.
