BSC Annual Meeting 'Greater'

Thank you, thank you! Your Biblical Recorder staff was at the annual meeting of the Baptist State Convention this week. Many of you came by our booth in the exhibit hall or spoke to one of our staff in the halls of the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro. Your gracious comments were a great encouragement to us. We really appreciate your affirmation of the hard work of the whole BR team.

It was a great experience to renew fellowship with so many fellow Baptists and to meet many new church leaders from across the state in an atmosphere of powerful worship and passionate commitment to impact lostness in our state.

Several stories about the convention are posted on BRnow.org and featured in this e-newsletter. More will be added to the website during the next week. For those who are interested in numbers, the unofficial messenger count was 1,642. That compares to 1,648 in 2013 and 1,605 in 2012. This year’s messengers and registered guests totaled 1,885.

I believe the Biblical Recorder is a valuable tool to inspire and inform everyone in your church. I hope you will share with your friends what the Recorder means to you and your ministry. Encourage them to subscribe to the printed Biblical Recorder or the digital edition, visit our website and to sign up for this BRweekly e-newsletter.

In my report to the convention I shared that the web traffic for BRnow.org has seen tremendous growth since January. Our unique visitors have grown by 341 percent daily. Thank you for your support!
