Three ways we give you the news

What are the three main ways the Biblical Recorder delivers the news to you? When Thomas Meredith printed the first edition of the Recorder in 1833, everyone depended on the printed paper to get vital news and information. Apart from the spoken word, there was no other way to stay informed. The printed paper was the only way to get news. Information was very important to people in the 1800s. It still is.

Today we use three primary delivery systems to bring you the news: 1. The print edition of the Biblical Recorder, 2. the website BRnow.org that was launched in 1997, and 3. this e-newsletter, BRweekly, first published in 2012. We also use social media, the online digital edition (not the same as the website) and the BR app for smartphones.

You need to know that the three main delivery tools are not identical. Some information is common to the three, but each is unique. If you are only reading the website, you are not getting everything that is in the printed paper – and vice versa.

The staff of the Biblical Recorder is committed to serving our Lord, serving the local church and serving you. We are working to bring you the news and information that will strengthen your church and edify you as a fellow follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. We want you to get the best news and information – from a Christian worldview. Thank you for supporting the Recorder and allowing us to serve you and your church. We’re honored to serve on the same eternal team with you!
