    After nearly 200 years in New York City, the American Bible Society has announced a relocation of its headquarters to Philadelphia. ABS works to distribute scripture across the world and equip Bible translators, according to the organization’s website.

    New president named by American Bible Society

    Roy Peterson is elected as the new president of the American Bible Society. Peterson is currently the president and CEO of The Seed Company, a ministry that has been a catalyst of 800 Bible translation projects worldwide. Peterson replaces Douglas Birdsall, who was terminated by the ABS board in October after six months as the Bible society's president.
