    BSC Executive Committee hears ‘optimistic’ financial report

    Although Cooperative Program receipts were slightly behind budget through the end of October, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (BSC) officials remain confident that the convention will meet or exceed its 2017 budget. Through Oct. 31, Cooperative Program receipts totaled more than $23.8 million, which is nearly 5 percent behind the overall $30.375 million budget for 2017.

    Board recommends $31M budget to messengers

    The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s (BSC) Board of Directors approved a proposed 2018 Cooperative Program budget totaling $31 million on Tuesday, Sept. 26 during the board’s regularly scheduled fall meeting. The proposed budget will now be presented to messengers attending the 2017 BSC annual meeting for consideration.
