    North Carolina’s Baptists on Mission, also known as North Carolina Baptist Men, announced today (May 22) that Gaylon Moss, disaster relief director, has accepted a similar position with the Missouri Baptist Convention. Moss will make the transition July 1, after serving in his current role for nearly 20 years.

    More than 1,000 homes, businesses, churches and schools were damaged or destroyed when tornadoes with winds approaching 135 miles per hour swept through Guilford and Rockingham counties April 15. North Carolina Baptists on Mission responded quickly to the disaster, setting up two sites. By April 17, 10 projects had been completed.

Sarah and her then-fiance, Bobby, had opted to make this donation to NCBM ministries instead of receiving gifts from guests at their upcoming wedding shower.
