    Utah adopts informed consent law for medication abortions

    Utah Gov. Gary Herbert signed legislation that pro-life leaders hope will help promote medically induced abortion reversals. The new law requires abortionists to inform women of “the options and consequences” of stopping a medication-induced abortion and will change state-printed information to tell women that mifepristone doesn’t always work.

    Porn ‘health hazard’ resolutions considered

    Tennessee and Virginia would become the latest states in the U.S. to declare pornography a public health hazard under resolutions introduced in the states’ legislatures. Tennessee Senate Joint Resolution 35 urges the state to “recognize pornography as a public health hazard leading to a broad spectrum of individual and public health impacts and societal harms.”
