    Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary professor Owen Strachan has announced his resignation as president of The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, citing a need “to step back” from “filling two vocational roles” simultaneously.     Pulitzer winners tie domestic abuse to Christianity

    The South Carolina newspaper that won this year’s Pulitzer Prize has drawn criticism for linking the state’s domestic violence problems with its residents’ belief in the Bible’s teaching about gender. At least two articles in the series suggested that the Christian belief in complementarianism is a cause of domestic violence.
