    MK scholarships receive boost from WMU Foundation

    The Woman’s Missionary Union Foundation will grant a greater number of college scholarships to missionary kids (MKs) this year, thanks to two estate gifts totaling $65,000. The foundation recently received the gifts and will add them to the endowments that support MK scholarships.

    Baptist Foundation to oversee scholarship program

    The board of directors of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina voted to transfer administration and oversight of the annual Baptist college scholarship program from the convention to the North Carolina Baptist Foundation. The vote was the result of a motion recommended by the Christian Higher Education Special Committee.

  • SEBTS gives $200,000 in Kingdom Diversity Scholarships

    The new Kingdom Diversity scholarships at Southeastern have been awarded to 23 students. Gifts range from nine full-time, 13 part-time, and one $1000 partial scholarship. Students selected are from places including Central America, Korea and the Dominican Republic and represent a variety of cultures such as African-American, Asian and Hispanic.
