Rives Chapel Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a man of God to be our full-time pastor, the shepherd that God is preparing for us. We are a small loving country church in rural Western Chatham County, Central NC. We are an older church constituted in 1832. We are truly blessed with a very strong active young adult group with many wonderful children.
As Eastern Chatham County continues to see a growth boom, Western Chatham is growing at a slower yet steadier rate. Therefore, we’re seeking a loving, visiting pastor to help guide & grow our church with strong roots to match our rural community.
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and is the sole basis for our statement of faith. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to worship, witness, minister and apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our daily living.
RCBC is affiliated with Sandy Creek Baptist Association, North Carolina Baptist State Convention & Southern Baptist Convention. We subscribe to the doctrinal statement of “The Baptist Faith and Message”.
