SEAGOVILLE, Texas (BP) — A Dallas metro pastor was taken into custody last October for indecency with a child-sexual contact, according to a report by the Seagoville Police Department.
Annual Church Profile reports indicate that Alfredo Rios has served as senior pastor of Iglesia Bautista Antioquia since February 2015. Rios is also listed as the pastor on a Faithstreet search. Attempts to contact the church for comment through various listed phone numbers were unsuccessful.
According to the SPD, the incident occurred on Sept. 6, 2024 and was reported on Sept. 12. An offense of forcible fondling, it stipulated, took place in a Seagoville residence to a juvenile.
Rios, 68 at the time, turned himself in without incident to Seagoville police on Oct. 4, 2024 at 5:10 a.m. for the charge’s outstanding warrant and was booked into the Seagoville jail. He was later released on $20,000 bond.
