NASHVILLE (BP) – With a theme for each month, the 2024 SBC Calendar is designed to draw attention to issues and ministry opportunities Southern Baptists care about.
The calendar, released today (Sept. 28), provides a great overview of Southern Baptist life, starting in January with a focus on Christian discipleship, all the way through December with its focus on international missions.
“The SBC Calendar is a great way to highlight Southern Baptist cooperation,” said Brandon Porter, acting vice president of communications at the SBC Executive Committee. “Not only does it feature so much of the ministry we accomplish, it allows us to take time together to talk about it with our churches.”
Other main emphases in certain months include North American missions in March and Next Gen ministries in September.
“From important cultural issues like the sanctity of life and orphan care to our shared ministry efforts like disaster relief and global hunger, the SBC Calendar allows our churches to emphasize all that we do together,” Porter said.
