LifeWay Christian Stores will celebrate its new location in Wilmington, N.C., with a grand opening celebration May 24-June 22.
The 4,800-square-foot LifeWay Christian Store, which officially opened May 18, features Christian music, gifts, Bibles, books, DVDs, children’s products and church supplies.
LifeWay Christian Stores President Tim Vineyard said, “Our goal is to be a one-source location with Christian resources for churches and individuals as we strive to fulfill our vision of providing biblical solutions for life. It is a pleasure to be a part of the Wilmington community.”
The Wilmington store is one of 15 LifeWay Christian Stores in N.C., and one of 161 stores the chain operates in 26 states. Located in the University Commons Shopping Center on South College Road near Home Goods and A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts, the store’s hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Among the events slated for the grand opening celebration, VeggieTales characters Bob & Larry will greet customers from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., May 25.
On June 15, pastor and Christian fiction author Jerel Law will greet customers and sign copies of his books from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and VeggieTales’ LarryBoy will make an appearance from 10 a.m.-noon, June 15.
