Fruitland Baptist Bible College announced that it paid remaining debt on the renovation of its chapel building at the end of 2020. President David Horton celebrated the achievement in a video announcement Jan. 22.
“I’m here today to say praise the Lord and thanks to you, as churches and God’s people, who have allowed this to be possible,” Horton said. “Without the contributions you have made, we would still have that debt over us.”
Fruitland had been paying down the debt for 13 years, according to Horton. The school is a ministry of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
