Steven Wade, pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville, N.C., interviewed Thabiti Anyabwile for “Southeastern Live” about how to be a healthy church member amid a global pandemic that has disrupted many church activities.

“One of the ironies of the pandemic, which forces us apart,” Anyabwile said, “is that it is actually revealing and deepening the Christian sense that, ‘Oh, I need to be with my brothers and sisters.'”

Anyabwile is pastor of Anacostia River Church in Washington, D.C. Wade is an associate professor at Southeastern and member of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s board of directors.
