N.C. Baptists are invited to participate in a brief survey running throughout the month of July to help ensure that the state convention’s communication practices and strategies are effective and beneficial to partnering churches.
The communications survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is available at ncbaptist.org/survey. The survey aims to help state convention leaders learn how N.C. Baptists prefer to engage with state convention materials so that convention staff can:
- Better inform churches of resources and training opportunities
- Tailor resources to the primary needs of the local church
- Wisely steward God’s resources
- Bolster the local church’s kingdom effort
The survey is open through Wednesday, July 31. The survey is open to all members of N.C. Baptist partnering churches, including pastors, directors of missions, church staff, lay leaders and laity.
Participants who complete the survey before July 31 will be entered to win a free giveaway. Pastors, church leaders and associational leaders are encouraged to promote the survey in their services, bulletins, newsletters, Sunday school classes, small groups or other avenues.
Kathryn Carson, director of the Marketing & Communications group for N.C. Baptists, said that the survey will be a great benefit to the state convention and their partnering churches alike.
“It is our desire to understand and address the unique needs and preferences of the churches we serve in North Carolina,” Carson said. “It is critical that we continue to strengthen connections, foster deep relationships and develop resources that serve the local church in their Great Commission efforts.
“We want to embrace all these communication efforts with excellence, and this survey will help us accomplish that with greater clarity.”
