NASHVILLE (BP) – The Road to Indy is getting the green flag as preparations for the 2024 SBC Annual Meeting and Pastors’ Conference in Indianapolis are underway. The popular video series, hosted by Jonathan Howe, provides Southern Baptists important details related to the annual meeting.
The first episode of the series drops on Baptist Press’ YouTube Channel Tuesday (Jan. 23).
This year’s series will include information about the host city and state and feature interviews with state and local associational leaders as well as Chuck Lofton, likely the most well-known Southern Baptist in Indianapolis and meteorologist for WTHR-13.

Hotel reservations are currently available. Thousands of rooms have already been reserved by those attending the meeting.
Several important dates are just around the corner.
Giant Calf and Giant Cow will be providing childcare during the meeting. They provide, “Christ-centered drama, music, interactive memorization, kid comedy, life lessons and much more in our exciting, high-energy ‘Round-Ups,’ according to SBCAnnualMeeting.net.
Giant Calf is for preschool aged children and Giant Cow is for children ages 5-12.
Youth on Mission will be leading mission project opportunities for teens ages 13-18 on June 11 and 12. The students will engage in hands-on mission projects.
Registration for Giant Calf, Giant Cow and the Youth on Mission project opens Feb. 5.
The SBC Ministers’ Wives Luncheon pre-registration at the meeting site also opens Feb. 5.
Both events have filled quickly in recent years.
The 2024 SBC Annual Meeting and Pastors’ Conference is set for June 9-12, at the Indiana Convention Center.
