‘Road to Dallas’ launch kicks off promotion for 2025 SBC annual meeting
NASHVILLE (BP) — The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Executive Committee’s “The Road to…” series began its fifth iteration as “The Road to Dallas” launched Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Hosted each year by Jonathan Howe, SBC Executive Committee vice president for convention administration, the annual video interview series has become a staple of promotion and information about the SBC annual meeting.
This year’s series will focus on ministry in and around the Dallas area and will highlight activities both during and surrounding the SBC annual meeting. Also included are episodes focused on family activities and food to be found in the Metroplex.
Joining Howe on The Road to Dallas will be Dallas residents and Southern Baptist leaders from around the country as well as those located in the Metroplex — including the presidents of GuideStone Financial Resources and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, both of which are located in the area. Southwestern Seminary also serves as the presenting sponsor for the series.
The first episode of the series is now available on Baptist Press’ YouTube channel as well as at sbcannualmeeting.net.
The 2025 SBC annual meeting and Pastors’ Conference is set for June 8-11, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
